What is a Power of Attorney?
A Power of Attorney (POA) is an agreement that allows a company owner to appoint a third party agent to manage legal, financial or operational activities of your business on your behalf.
We can provide a Power of Attorney document for you to issue to use when appointing an agent to manage certain business affairs on your behalf. Our standard POA document covers the majority of powers able to be given to a nominated agent.
We are able to create a POA document based upon the powers you wish to provide to your Agent however please note for significantly detailed POAs with significant legal controls, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.
The agent being appointed will be required to provide their passport and proof of Address.
If you require the POA to be legalised in the UK, the business owner will be required to attend an appointment with our Notary in London.
